I know it\u2019s not for everyone and in the past have not gravitated toward bright colors, but this was a quilt I was going to make. Then as the new year neared, I knew I had to finish the quilt. I originally intended to give this quilt to my mom in June for her birthday and in time for a big celebration we would give her. Well, from December to April I changed my mind several times, but eventually, I came back to the Postcards from Sweden quilt. As June drew closer, I buckled down and sewed. I originally settled on and started out quilting curvy lines vertically on the quilt, but halfway through, I didn\u2019t like it. Not one bit. So, I undid all the quilting and stitched in the ditch, quilting diagonal lines. I wanted a more intricate quilt design but knew that I didn\u2019t have the time (of course, it was all of my fault because I kept changing my mind as to which quilt to make for my mom).
